The Syrian Orthodox Students Movement in Australia (SOSMA) is a spiritual organisation affiliated with the Syriac Orthodox Church. Members of this organisation consist of those with a high school education or higher.
It provides a platform for spiritual education and comprehensive growth. It offers young individuals the chance to grow in Christian orthodox faith via education, service, and collaboration.
It seeks to establish a community of Church servants committed to addressing the distinct spiritual needs of the faithful raised in Australia. Also to uphold the traditions and beliefs created and perpetuated by our spiritual ancestors.
St Thomas Church provide an opportunity for SOSMA member to provide opportunity to become Christian leaders by taking leadership under priest and catechism teachers in various community supporting events.
